Div 2 Men Move on to Playoffs!
After a close 42-40 win over the Valley on Saturday, the Div 2 Men move into 5th position and onto the quarter-finals. They will face PEI on September 11 at 2pm on Co-op Field. Congratulations boys!! Saturday also saw the Div 1 Men beat the Valley 39-7. The Div 1 Men remain undefeated with 2 season games remaining.

Both Div 1 and Div 2 Women ended their seasons on Friday night with back to back Finals. Div 1 played HRFC early Friday night for the NS Championship. Tars held off their opponents for most of the first half, but HRFC capitalized on several silly penalties and broke through the line a few times in the second half. Tars saw a gilmmer of hope when the ball was swung wide for winger Monica Lauder to touch it down late in the second half. Final score was 32-5 for HRFC.
Div 2 Women went on to play Enfield for the Div 2 Championship. In what was possibly the girls hardest (and longest) game of the season, they took the title with a 12-5 final score.
